Can I travel all the way through Vietnam in three weeks?
I will start traveling on the 6th of July, and would like to travel all the way through Vietnam from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, and from there visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia as well. My flight back home will depart from Bangkok on the 28th July. Is this enough time to travel and sight see intermittently? How long will the train journeys take?
You're going to be doing A LOT of travel during that short period of time.
You COULD do it in 3 weeks but I wouldn't recommend it.
Personally, I'd stick to Saigon, Nha Trang, Dalat, the Mekong Delta and Angkor Wat...
It's just not much of a holiday to me when you are on the move every other day which is what you would be doing if you traveled from north to south...
