let me know. thanks

Mui Ne near the city of Phan Thiet, about 198 km (125 miles) north of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Fly to HCMC, then take a bus or a train to Phan Thiet/ Mui Ne.

The surf is not the best in the world but the beaches are beautiful and the country is safe, friendly and affordable. Kite surfing, however, is world class!

Hotel rooms in Mui Ne range from $ 20 - 30/night at a 2-star hotel to $35 - 50 at a 3-star. You'll very well fed (delicious food, including fresh seafood) for less than $ 10/day/person.

Have fun. Nobody ever had a bad time in modern Vietnam. In fact, not even a mediocre time. Most come away with tears in their eyes: so much for so little money!

The people are courteous and helpful and very few would bother you about buying trinkets like in so many other third world countries. By the way, Vietnam is trying to get off the 3rd world category by 2020 (some experts say 2012!). You can see it changes practically every day...
