Vietnam Motorcycle Holidays? ?

My husband and I have been wanting to go on a "different" kind of holiday for some time, and, after watching Top Gear last night, think that a similar trip to theirs would be perfect for us! We would both like to go to Vietnam, however, I cannot seem to find any good sites that offer un-escorted motorbike trips, and/or flight/hotel packages! Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations? We're hoping to do it in 2009 before we start a family.(we live in the UK so would be starting our journey from there)

Okay, if you really MUST go through a travel company, then try intrepid travel (just type the name into a search engine), they offer all sorts of activity/trekking/specialist trips all over the world.

But I would REALLY reccomend doing it independently. I have backpacked all throughout the region and believe me it is a lot cheaper, just as easy and a LOT more rewarding!!!!

Buy a Lonely planet Vietnam book or look at their website for information and ideas, and just go! It really is as simple as that. If you want to ride through Vietnam it will be very easy to buy or rent a moped/bike when you are there. (I've rented them in many places through Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia).
