Can long distance travel affect menstrual cycle?
My friend has just come back from a holiday in Asia. This was the first time she has flown.. She was unwell while away and during this time, her period came on early (which never happens to her).. Since her return, her period was 10 days late and when it came on it has been very heavy.. She has been on Paludrine/Avloclor malaria tablets so we are wondering if these too, could have an affect on her.. plus she had to take two courses of antibiotics during this time..
Has anyone experienced such a situation..?
yeah my friends cycle got screwed up after malaria tablets, she was like clockwork but when she came home her period was 2 weeks late then over 6 weeks late. its back to normal now. no need to worry. XXX
