Vietnam plans to welcome 5.3 million foreign visitors in 2011
In 2011, the number of foreign visitors coming to Vietnam is more and more increasingly. Viet Vision Travel is one of the most important units that have taken part in promoting tourism potential. Vietnam's tourism sector aims to welcome 5.3 million international tourist arrivals, serving 30 million domestic tourists; revenue from tourism reached 110,000 billion in 2011.
This is one of the key tasks which have shown at a conference by Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism in 2011. This conference was taken place in two days 25 and 26, February in Hanoi.
The Department will focus on perfecting mechanisms and policies to create resources for investment in tourism development; gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector, and also the Prime Minister approving for tourism development project in the period from 2011 to 2020.

A different focus is the development strategy implementation plan right after having Prime Minister's approval and strategic implementation to promote cultural development till 2020 , building and sending Government the national target program on culture in the period 2011-2015.
In the field of sport, the department directs forces preparation to participate in achieving good competition at SEA Games 26 (2011), Olympic qualifier (2012) and ASIAD 17 (2014).
With the diverse terrain, historical and cultural sites and a lot of beautiful landscapes, the friendliness of the Vietnamese people, Vietnam is one of the most interesting places that attracts many foreign víitors coming for relax and sightseeing.
In coming years, Vietnam goverment and state will continue to implement the best policies to promote Vietnam tourism such as improving the tourist services, dishes, drinks and provide the best guides that have a lot of exoeriences. Besides, the quality of hotels, restaurants and bars...must be improved in a high level that can meet the visitor demand.
