Overview:
This 2-day trip offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. A night at a local farmer's home will give you an insight into the life of the local people.
With local tour guide service, we save your trip cost, bring you more local experience through interaction with the local-born tour guide, and assist them for the better wealth fare. This is what we call "Responsible Travel & Sharing"
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long ( Lunch, Dinner )
Our driver will pick you at your hotel for the drive through the country to the town of Vinh long. On arrival, the local tour guide will welcome and escort you till the next day.
Board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals of the Mekong. We will stop at a local restaurant for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. After lunch, we visit some local cottage industries such as tile workshop, tofu makers, blacksmith, and coffin makers… Towards the end of the day we arrive at the home of a local farmer family. These people will be our hosts for this evening and will tell us more about life in the Delta. (Lunch & Dinner included)>>> Vietnam Tours
Day 2: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City ( Breakfast )
Early start with the sounds of the delta, we have short walk around the island to observe the daily activities of local farmers. Continue with our cruise, we arrive at Mr. Cai Cuong house, which was a former landlord house. Here, we can devour the fresh tropical fruits of the Delta, while having a brief South Vietnamese traditional music performed by local artists. We carry on with a visit to a Nursery garden, where you can see most of the Delta fruit tree seedlings. Last thing on our schedule is the famed Cai Be floating market. Rendezvous with our driver, drive back to Ho Chi Minh. Tour ends. (Breakfast)
