Discover Perfume Pagoda on Vietnam Holiday
8:10 AM we will pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Perfume pagoda. It takes about 2.5 hour to drive through the countryside. Perfume pagoda is one of the highlights for your Vietnam holiday.
When you arrive, you take one hour sampan rowed by the local people to explore the stunning scenery along peaceful Yen river surrounded by karst limestone mountains. During the cruise, you have many chances to take beautiful photos on farmers working on the green rice fields, unusually shaped mountains or fishermen along the peaceful river.
The first stop is made to visit Trinh temple built on the bank of Yen river in 15th century. The four sacred animals (Dragon, Phoenix, turtle and unicorn) and the flowers of the four seasons for the decoration of the temple will make you take a lot of photos. These are amazing photos for your Vietnam holiday. Then, continue your cruise to Thien Tru pagoda which was rebuilt in 1999. The original pagoda was burnt by the French in 1947. However, it is still stunning with the beautiful scenery of the mountains and trees. It could be said to be one of the most beautiful temples on Vietnam holidays.
After Thien Tru pagoda, enjoy a nice trek about 3.5 km to Huong Tich pagoda located inside the mountain. You will have great view along the trekking route. Then, trek back and join the cruise back and drive back to your hotel about 17:30. The end of Perfume pagoda tour, the highlight of Vietnam holiday.
