What's your favourite Thai island?

Hi guys!

I'm off on a massive Asia tour in January (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Japan) after working solid for months, and when I get there I want to see Bangkok then go chill on one of the Thai islands. Question is, which is your favourite and why? I would like peace, beauty, good food, not too too touristy, but a bit of a party. Any suggestions.

I would have to say that you described Koh Chang -

removed enuf to be clean - touristy enuf that there is stuff to do and places to stay,
