Viet Nam Travel

viet nam travel_3"viet nam travel"
What is the cheapest way to travel through europe to east asia and any advice or info? Thanks.?

We are looking to travel through Europe and eventually end up in East Asia (China, Thailand, Viet Nam etc) and then on to Australia and New Zealand. We will be willing to work if we have to, but would prefer not to! There is no time limit, we will just see how long it takes. Any suggestions on the cheapest way to do this? I.e, trains etc? Thanks very much!

Well first of all best website for accomdation is www.hostelworld.com become a member! 2ndly for flights www.expedia.com shows you most of the air lines. other wise try out ryan air and easy jet.

Some tips when your in each country try to learn the basics such as 2 tickets to.... thank you please... 2 beers hahhaah etc... you can just search via the net as you do not want to spend loads of money on books (plus you do not want to lug that around when back packing)

also if you do not like sleep in parks, check out prior to going what countries/cities your going to visit and the months, as there might be festivals on or games and everything might be booked out. My tip there is to book for 2 destinations in advance for travel and accomdation. So every third stop make some bookings. Once you get the routine and contecing flights/bus/train you can get it down packed to 15 mins or less.

First check out what is cheaper flight or ferry or train to France as you have the euro star. Then your in europe. I suggest to utilise there local trains that the locals use to get around for country to country like there express trains.

When i was in spain and italy it was cheap to get trains and i travelled via train from arcelona to malaga then to velancia then a 20 min flight from there to ibiza , then ferry from there to barcelona then train to pamplona and back through to milan in italy. Then trains around italy from milan to cinque terre to pisa, (luca) to florence , rome, to anacona then a ferry from there to split croatia. Then hired a car for Croatia to all along the coast up through valencia to venice to austria to munich to amsterdam and dropped the car there and orgainsed that prior to hiring the car to see if i could do that. (or find buy a old van , then you can sleep in it too) Always get the maps for the next city at the stations.

As for Asia you might have to do some reasearch as to which country is the cheapest to buy your ticket from departing and arriving to asia. Once your in Asia id buy your tickes for Australia from there as it would be cheaper and all via internet.

Transport in Australia - not the best local transport as everything is quite far. Cheapest way is to fly from city to city in Australia and cheapest air line is Jet Star! You can they fly from brisbane or sydney to new zealand from there , then from new zealand you can fly jet star back to bangkok then buy your ticket from there back to the uk as it will be cheaper.

I hope this helps, if you need to know anything else , let me know.
