How safe is current tourism in India, Nepal & S/E Asia?

I'm about to leave on a trip to India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam & a bit nervous due to recent news stories. Has anyone recently gone to any of these places that might have some advice?

I’ve just been through quite an adventure. The political situation in Thailand is chaotic. Anti government protestors seized the airport. The government has retreated to the North of Thailand and the army and police don’t really obey them. I and thousands of stranded travelers spent the night on the airport floor surrounded. Then into Bangkok. A few days later I managed to get out via a military airport 160 km outside Bangkok and for days later, after some incredible. Asia is fascinating but very different. It was often hard to get any information of what was going on!
