tips on traveling to saigon/ ho chi minh city?
so im 16 and will go to saigon for the first time in my life with my parents and sister. my mom is visting her dad for the first time in like 30 somthing years. i wanted some tips on either airport stuff( i don't travel on planes alot) or tips on what i should bring or the do's and don'ts over there? also i was wondering on how much a taxi would be or how much a hotel would cost if we are staying 1-2 weeks? also any good resturants we can eat that is clean or good places to shop? also i don't speak much vietnamese but i kinda understand parts.
sorry for all the questions but since my mom hasnt been over there in a lonnngg time she doesnt know all my answers XD.

You can text your order from your hotel room. Don't buy anything from the airport. They are licensed to steal. If you see something in Ben Thanh market that interests you send one of your relatives back to buy it. My wife can usually get stuff for 70% less than what I pay for it. (Yes, and she does like to brag about it.) If you're interested in buying clothes turn them inside out and study the stitching before purchase. Avoid walking on the road and always be aware of what's coming behind you. This will be an emotional journey for your Mom. Be on your best behaviour and give her your full support. Capice?
