What to take to Vietnam?
Can someone please help me with ideas on what items i will need to take to vietnam, including clothing, toiletries ect.
I am going on a tour for 2 weeks, will have lots of time for shopping.
Travelling to the following places:
Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels, Dalat,Hue,Nha Trang,Hoi An,Hanoi.
I go next week. Please help as i have never been oversea's before
Mid to late December is actually pretty cool (temperature-wise) and dry in the South and can be chilly but also dry (except for some fine misting) in the North. Temperature can drop to 60 degrees in the early morning in the South and in the 50's in the North. In Dalat, it's cool year round...so bring a sweater and a light jacket. The rest of the time, temperature in most parts of the country will be in the 70's and 80's , very pleasant so bring light-weight clothings.
Bring items you'll normally bring on a long trip within the country... do not freak out because it's an "overseas" trip. You can find practically anything there...even cheaper so don't be afraid if you happen to forget anything. Enjoy!
