Any advice that i should take extra careful when at Ho Chi Minh City?
I'm going to travel to Ho Chi Minh this month and is there any advice or what are the things that i should take extra careful on when im at there?
Listen to Rick. Do not put anything down, even for a minute. Snatch and grabbers constantly patrol the streets looking for easy pickings, and they dress like office workers. A couple chased my wife into a restaurant a couple of months ago and ripped her handbag from her shoulder. Thankfully they didn't hurt her. A few days later a similar looking duo snatched a friends briefcase and bolted into the crowd. There's no such thing as active policing here and the thieves rule the streets. If you do get ripped off don't take it personal, they rob more Vietnamese than they do foreigners!
