any ideas about travel in vietnam?
Ive got two weeks on a small budget and want to see beaches, go shopping and see beautiful scenery.Have you got any suggestions?Ive never been there before.
Well, if you are in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), you should go to Western district ( District 1) to stay the night at a bargain price. They also organize some tours to the nearest beach of VN: Vung Tau. To be honest, i've never tried such tours but becuz lots and lots of Westerners who visit VN do so, i think it wouldn't be bad.
Beautiful scenery can be seen at the heart of the city too! It doesn't cost you a penny to sightsee the city: the popular market Ben Thanh, The Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, to list some of the typical things in Saigon.
If having more money, you should spend travelling to other parts of the country like Nha Trang, Ha Long, Phu Quoc, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, etc, where there are BEACHES! Love this place!
