My nephew is leaving tonight!?
My nephew is leaving to go to a hotel and he is shipping for basic training to Parris Island for the USMC. Since it is a time of war, do promotions come fast? My father was in the Army during the Vietnam war and he got promoted very easily, he did 2 tours, and he went to Vietnam as a private E1 and when he did his 2 tours, he was already a Spec 4 (E4) . Is the promotions in the Marine Corp be fast because of the war? Thank you for reading this
