Any reviews about the Sinh Cafe package tours in Vietnam and Cambodia?
My friends and I are planning to avail of their open bus tours and package tours when we go to Cambodia and Vietnam in April. Sinh Cafe (www.sinhcafevn.com) is asking us to write 50% downpayment to a bank in Australia. Has anyone experienced this? Would you recommend Sinh Cafe in Vietnam?
D, please don't book before you get here. The quality of the various 'sinh cafe' services tends to vary greatly. I can recommend you travel with them but I would not recommend a 50% down payment! If you give them any money up front before you enter the country you are basically at their mercy! You won't have any trouble booking tours at the office and you can find out for yourself what the buses are like and what other travelers you run into have to say. There are Sinh cafe offices ALL over the backpacker districts in the cities and it pays to shop around for decent prices! It's kind of crazy how much some of the tours vary in price for the exact same services! (ahem) same goes for accomodation, by the way!!!
