Vietnam Tour Operators

In Australia, should we reintroduce Crocodile Hunting? Because they keep killing people....?

Last week a former Vietnam Veteran living in Far North Queensland was apparently killed and eaten by a monster 6m Salt water Crocodile, in these far Northern towns crocs live close by to people. Should the Government reintroduce culling ? Why are tour operators allowed to tease & feed large Crocs, teaching them to leap out of the water for bait, just to give American tourist a photo opportunity? THIS IS CRAZY!

Hello,

I don't live or have ever been in Australia but even so geography and numerous documentaries have given me the idea their are crocodiles in Queensland and wading into some of the rivers and streams there would be the last thing I'd do. In my country I work near a lot of black and Grizzly bears who attack and kill people on occasion but more often than not people forget they are in the animal's territory and neglect to follow simple rules and procedures. I don't believe these animals should be hunted down but certainly they should never be teased and fed. That is the first cardinal rule that is being broken.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly
