Travel In Vietnam

Would it be okay to put pictures of innocent people killed by American Troops at the traveling Vietnam wall?

Will be doing that here in Mt Clemens when the wall arrives. Free Speech. Right?
The My Lai Massacre
If the pictures are true what will the problem be?
I am part of the wall personnel. I will be standing guard and I'm going to put pictures of innocent people killed by the troops during Vietnam.
If pictures are true what is the problem.

I think you raise an important, ignored aspect of war. You certainly have free speech rights to put pics at the wall. I would suggest that you think about what you're trying to say and to whom you're trying to say it, though.

Many Vietnam vets struggle with the fact that they've killed innocents, having been told they were fighting communism. Many of their lives were destroyed for this very reason - at a very young age. Don't assume that the wall is honoring the war itself or that the vets aren't fully aware of the cost of war.

Keep in mind that people who served are paying a real price for the war and fully aware of its cost.

Want to show some real courage? Sit by the wall as people visit then talk to some of the vets before you place the pics. If you still feel strongly, then do your thing.
