How is the internet likeily to affect the future of travel agents??
I am doing a Travel and tourism course I need some ideas, case studies etc. to get me going!! How is the net going to affect the future of the travel agents. It might benefit or decrease certain businesses. Appreciate any input, thanks
The Internet has already affected the business. which has decreased tremendously. However, travel agents often claim that they are better than Internet sites because they can actually give you personal accts of destinations - what hotels to stay in and where to eat whereas the Internet is basically big ads and feedback from articles or travelers who may or may not be telling the truth about their experiences.
