I want to buy a camera as I am going on a school trip to Vietnam. How to convince my dad?
He may ask me to take his camera.
Just take his camera. If you can prove yourself as a responsible person, perhaps next time it's easier to ask for something new.
Vietnam's not very safe, so you're better off with an older camera. Your heart will ache if your new camera were to be snatched by thieves.
