Thailand / Cambodia / Vietnam trip -- suggested itinerary? Specific tips?
I am traveling in and out of Bangkok from the U.S. on August 2 - 17. I have two weeks and I would like to see Bangkok, an island, Chiang Mai, Siem Reap, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An or Hue and Hanoi.
Questions:
- Is this a realistic number of places to see in 13 days?
- Suggestions on a Thai island to visit? We want somewhere less touristy than Phuket, but we still want to have some restaurants around.
- How to get around? Can I fly direct to and from almost all these places?
- Do you have a suggested itinerary and number of days?
- I will probably only have time for Hoi An or Hue. Which one is better?
- Anything I'm missing here?
OK SO iM ViETNAMESE AND FOR 13 DAYS THATS ALOT.U CANT EXACTLY FLY iNTO SOME PLACES.YOU CAN FLY A LITTLE AIRPLANE INTO A DIFFERENT CITY BUT THEN HAVE TO RIDE MOTORCYCLES TO GET AROUND TO YOUR DESTINATION.&& BE AWARE THAT iT HAS BADD POLLUTiON.BRiNG GAS MASKS LOL. BUT 13 DAYS IS OK DEPENDING ON HOW LONG YOU ARE STAYING AT ONE DESTINATION.
