Independent Travel Vietnam

independent travel vietnam"independent travel vietnam"
A really good question i have had on my mind for quite a while..?

Why is it that people from coutries such as America, and Europe travel so ofte at young ages? Im from australia, and have only been to vietnam and new zealand, and i look at these foreigners and see them to be more mature and independent, where they raised liek that? Is it because they are richer? I find that people in australia rarely just go to europe for the weekend, while so many other teenagers in other countries travel every single weekend.

I can only speak for myself and others I knew who were in the same boat.
.
We traveled so much because of our parents being overseas working. We'd be shuttling back and forth from the States to where our parents lived and worked. Often times alone once we got old enough to travel alone.
.
I was going from the States to South America and Europe, depending on were Dad was working, alone starting as early as eight years old.

Mom hated Flying and was scared of flying. So, as soon as I could get on a plane by myself, I was on my own when it came to having to fly somewhere.

It was kind of an enforced maturity on us.
