I am trying to take my wife to thialand for out aniversery how much money should i bring?
I am in the army stationed in korea our 1 st wedding aniversery is in september and I am trying to take here to phuket, thailand. The lady at the travel agency says she can get airfare air port pick up and drop back to the airport form the hotel and a 4 star hotel fo $ 1,200 dollars. We are looking to go gor 3 nights days in the1st week of september about how much ,oney should i need. My wife just wants to go on 1 or to tours and rest and do alot of spa stuff. I wanna fo scuba and some wind sailing and i guess some spa stuff. Also the wife wants to try some thai seafood but most ly just relax. How much should i need US money gor 4 days in thailand (i know the conversion rate is good but i hhave no idea cause niether of us has been there before) ?
Thailand is quite a bit cheaper than Korea, you can spend a little less if you want to. September still has quite a few hotels still on low season pricing. Four days is not too long, it would be better to add a few more days if you can. Perhaps with a longer holiday you could also see some of Northern Thailand too!
Depends on what type of spender your wife is. Maybe $50 to $100 per day will do if she is conservative or if not double it! Wait until you get to Thailand before you change any money over to Thai baht.. You can use debit cards with Visa and MasterCard in Thai ATMs. Notify your bank or credit union that you will be in Thailand first.
