On a budget, how much cash do I need per day in Thailand?
As well as Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. I'm happy sleeping in hostels or the like, eating at food stalls...
Also, how much is train travel?

I just got back from Thailand and Malaysia. I have family that lives in Thailand so i stayed with them for about 5 weeks and traveled around for three weeks. I didn't take the train but i know that it is cheaper then flying. I took a bus from Phuket to Koh Samui.. about 9 hours and it was about 700 baht.. that's about 15 US dollars. The train is about the same price. extremely cheap. Flying would be about 3000-4000 Baht for that trip about 100 US dollars. It all depends on how much your time is worth. You can easily live on about 500 baht per day... about 12 US dollars. Have a great time! It's amazing!!!!!!!!!
