What is the best route to fly from Brisbane (Australia) to Ho Chi Minh City?
My mum wants to travel to Vietnam later in the year and she asked me about getting there.
I have told here that her best options were Singapore or Bangkok and also look at going through Hong Kong or Manila.
She doesnt want to fly through Sydney or Melbourne as she did that flying to Thailand (returning) and she hated Sydney airport lol.
So what is the best yet cheapest way to Vietnam from Brisbane with one airline??
and she is also returning From Hanoi to Brisbane, best route for that to??
Best as in cheapest would probably be JetStar Asia, but you're going to have to go through Sydney for that one:
08:25 Brisbane - Sydney 11:00 on JQ18
14:30 Sydney - Ho Chi Minh 19:15 on JQ7
Another, more expensive option, is Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. Or Singapore Airlines via Singapore.
Returning from Hanoi won't be a problem; again Singapore and Malaysia both fly there (it's called open jaw). All the above options involve one change of plane in each direction.
