Is it possible to get from Danang to Phu Quoc and then to Hanoi?
I am traveling over to Vietnam in two weeks, flying into Hanoi.
I would like to go from Hanoi to Hoi an which I know means having to fly to Danang and getting a bus/taxi. I then wanted to go down to Phu Quoc and then back up to Hanoi. Is this possible?
There are no direct flights from Da Nang to Phu Quoc. In fact, Vietnam Airlines is the only airline that services Phu Quoc Airport (PQC) and there are only two destinations from PQC that Vietnam Air flies to, which are Rach Gia (VKG) and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN). You will have to hub through HCMC to get to Phu Quoc from Da Nang and then back through HCMC to get from Phu Quoc to Ha Noi.
