flight from bangkok to vietnam?
I am in Los Angeles. My friend is in Bangkok. I fly there June 5th. We want to both go to Vietnam. Should I book flights from here or from Bangkok? Is it cheaper there? Also, since we don't have visas can we get them the same day in Bangkok (at a travel agent there) or is there a wait ?
It really doesn't matter where you buy your airticket if you book online, try Air Asia, Jetstar and Air France from BKK to SGN or Hanoi. They usually have the best fares from Bangkok to Vietnam and Air France isn't a typo.
You can't get a visa in one day at the Vietnam Embassy in Bangkok, it normally takes 3-4 working days unless you pay more for an expedited visa that takes one day. It is very easy to get the visa, you just can't do it the same day.
