What would happen if China invaded a ASEAN backed Viet Nam?
What do you think would happen if China invaded Viet Nam [Which was backed by ASEAN] over the Paracel/Spratly Islands dispute? Who would the US Support? What would the UN have to say? Would China be expelled from any International organizations? Would China's foreign relations be affected?
Reasons that this is a retarded question;
China wouldn't invade Vietnam. Other than the island dispute, they are on good terms (communists like each other).
The US wouldn't support anyone. There would be no need for them to help china because china would send in more troops then they have people. The US wouldn't send troops to fight for the government that bean them in the battlefield 40 years ago.
China wouldn't get kicked out of any club and the only foriegn relations it would effect are those it has with Vietnam. No one would mess with china, because the chinese could write a check and collapse any countries economy they please (they couldn't collapse the whole world economy but they could put one heck of a dent in it.
