travel from ho chi minh city to bankok via siam reap (angkor wat)?
hi im planning to travel from ho chi mihn city in veitnam to bangkok via the angkor wat ruins i have 9 day i was wondering if this is possible?but most of all safe?i am planning to travel march next year, does anyone know of any packages? im on a backpacker budget, and i speak very little veitnamese, cambodian or thai.is it better to book before hand or wing it once i get to vietnam, im austrlian if that helps also, any advice would be gretly appreciated thanks.
With only nine days and the bad road conditions, you'll spend a lot of time in busses if you opt for the cheapest possible.
I suggest you to fly from HCMC to Cambodia and then bus to Thailand. At Seam Reap you'll meet plenty of other backpackers. Form a group.
