Photographers, others, what can you tell me about FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL air show and this?
We have just acquired a framed with glass poster or print which says
FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL 90
September 2nd to 9th
Pictured in the form of illustrations, (not photographs), are a few different airplane models from different eras, a satellite in space along with a space shuttle and four men with airport clothing/uniforms with their backs turned as they run towards arriving airplanes.
1) Main reason I ask photographers is because I usually get very interesting answers concerning not only photography but other forms of art as well. I have searched on a few poster selling sites on internet and cannot find any information. I would appreciate anyone who knows about this or who can tell me where I might find an exact replica to this.
2) The poster or print is signed but there's no way I can decipher the handwriting. It seems to say Otto Tec hue. Is there anyone with a remotely similar name?
3) What do the numbers 209/300 on the bottom left corner could mean?
The FIA (Farnborough intl airshow) is held every two years at Farnborough.
Last one was in 2010.
I would assume that the 90 on your poster would mean 1990 but not sure.
No idea about the name but I would assume it is a limited edition and you have 209 of 300.
Google Farnborough airshow or the like and you may get more info.
Take off at Phu Bai (Hue) airport A321
