Are my smoothies making me gain weight?
All I ate were
3oz of flan
.5 peanut butter sandwich
1 cup banh hoi (4 squares)
3oz of chicken w/ mango juice
.5 cup of peas
and 8 18oz of papaya smoothies, which i blend only papayas and milk together. which i thought was good. however, my waist is an inch wider than this morning. is it just me bloated or am i really gaining? Is it bad if I continue this, well drinking this much? and is that smoothie healthy or is it harmful for me?
Fresh papayas.
I drink so many because it satisfies all of my cravings.
Not a diet for sure, it's just that drinking these smoothies helps me for craving sweets and pure sugar. and I would eat pure sugar too. because there's a vietnamese food where you would pour 1/4 of sugar on it and eat it.
You really don't lose or gain significant weight in one day. You're probably just bloated.
But it depends on how much milk you're using and what percent. 8 ounces of whole milk has 150 calories. So if half your smoothies are whole milk you're consuming 1350 calories just from the milk.1 cup of papaya is 55 calories. So depending on how much of each you're using it could be a very high calorie drink and with you drinking that much added to the other things you ate you probably went over you caloric needs for the day
