Hue - DMZ - Hamburger Hill Special Tour Duration: 5 days

Day 1:  Hue Arrival
When you arrive Hue airport, our driver will welcome you and transfer to Hue hotel and have free time to discover Hue city.

 

Day 2:  Hue - DMZ ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and start for our trip to Dong Hoi city in Quang Tri province.  On the way we stop to at sites such as Highway of Horror, Quang Tri Citadel, the Ai Tu Airfield. We head north to visit the Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai river at the middle of the DMZ ( Demilitarized Zone ), the river that was the only true physical demarcation between North and South Vietnam . Continue to Vinh Moc tunnels, the refuge of some 400 north Vietnamese inhabitants during the bombing operation " Rolling Thunder ". After lunch in Dong Ha, we head to Rockpile, a look-out of the U.S Marine Corps, visit Van Kieu ethnic minorities people in the Central of Vietnam. Continue to Khe Sanh village, visit Khe Sanh Combat Base. Overnight in Khe Sanh town. (B/L)

 

Day 3:  DMZ - Hamburger Hill - A Luoi ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Our plan today wil be a visit of Humburher Hill in A Luoi town. Hamburger Hill also has a nickname 937 Hill. You will see the whole sight of  the airport and the combat base from the top of the hill. This will take you  about 3 hours for trekking up and down. Then you go on visiting minority villages and take part in some activities of ethnic people such as  enjoying traditional music and tasting Ta Oi special food . Overnight in Stilt House in A Hua village in A Luoi.(B/L)

 

Day 4:  A Luoi - A Roang Village - Hue ( Breakfast, Lunch )

Early morning you can enjoy local maket activities of Katu people at A-luoi. After having breakfast, you will ride on Ho Chi Minh Trail to A-roang village (25km), where you can visit the hamlet of Ta-oi people and House on Stilts of Ta-oi. Moreover, you can see a lot of beautiful views of mountains and forests on the way. Come back to Hue city.(B/L)

 

Day 5:  Royal Tombs - Hue Departure ( Breakfast )

After breakfast, we will enjoy a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue's best-known religious sites, Thien Mu Pagoda. Then continue to visit Tu Duc tomb et Khai Dinh Tombs. On the way, we will visit Mrs Thuy family. Left only with one hand, Mrs. Thuy, women born in the famous village of Phu Cam conical village, made the conical hats with Hue soul. Come back to Hue in early afternoon, you have free time until the car transfer to the airport for your departure flight.(B)
