Paperback series about a Viet Nam vet who travels around the country and solves crimes and defeats bad guys?
I read a paperback about a guy who was a super-skilled honed fighter (perhaps ex-Ranger) who travels around the country and gets hooked up with people and fights crimes and generally kicks butt as an action/adventure hero. I think his first name MAY BE "Jack". The book I read was about him fighting a militia group of terrorists. I'd like to read more in the series, but can't remember the name of the character or any of the titles in the series.
Could it be Jack Reacher ? he is a Character in Lee Child's novels.He (Jack) is ex-Military police and he wanders all over the states and in one of his novels he is kidnapped by accident by a group of Militia.
