Is it cheaper to buy plane tickets from a travel agent or directly from the airline?
Depends. I have only bought from sites like Hotwire and Expedia and I have gotten great deals. My sister has gone with an agent before and I think she got a pretty good deal, but it was with a family agent that they have been doing business with for awhile. I would still go with sites though. Try to look for tickets on a Wednesday. I believe this is the cheapest day to travel. Hope this helps!
