travel saigon_3"travel saigon" Traveling from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) to Bangkok?
I would like to do the above journey but have read that the train section in Cambodia may no longer be running? i would probably have about 10-12 days to do the journey. I really want to go through cambodia and see angkor wat as a minimum so would like to know the best and most cost effective route. Would the bus be any good? Thanks
Bus from HCMC to Phnom Penh (6 hours). Bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (6 hours). Bus from Siem Reap to Bangkok (12 hours).
10 - 12 days will give you more than enough time to enjoy Cambodia and to get to Bangkok in time.
