Does anyone have experience importing hotel casegoods from either China or Vietnam?
I have an interior design/purchasing firm and I'm thinking about importing casegoods. I'm needing help locating a manufacturer.
One way to go is through a third-party sourcing organization. That way you don't have to contact China suppliers on your own--which can be risky.
One reliable company that people I know have used is Global Sources (www.globalsources.com). They're big, well-known and have contact information for thousands of China companies (broken down into specific product categories). Been in the sourcing business for years, too. Think you can also get credit rating information about different manufactuers there too (?)
They also host another site with advice on how to find China suppliers, negotiate with Chinese companies, cultural differences, legal issues, etc Take a look at www.smartchinasourcing.com. All the articles are by experts who have been dealing with China exporters for years.
