anyone had jeans or t-shirts made in hoi an, vietnam?
i am in hoi an, thinking about getting some clothes tailor made, but all the emphasis seems to be on suits, and as a construction worker i have absolutely no need for a suit. i have asked a few places if they do denim or t-shirts, or any casual clothes, but only got confused looks.
can anyone recommend me somewhere where i can get nice casual clothes? i dont want to pass up the opportunity of tailor made threads!

Go by Lan #9 right on the street that goes to the Cam nam bridge. middle of the block across from the new market. Bring her some samples of what you want made. She has made me everything from casual Hawiian type shirts to boxer shorts. Good quality and inexpensive prices. Tell her that Randy sent you and she will cut you a deal. She speaks enough english to get along and is a real sweet heart. She has been my tailor for 3 years.
