Online, or Regular Highschool?
So if you haven't already known, there is a new way to finish your high school years. Online, it allows you to go through the high school curriculum on your own time, free to travel and free to be out in the sunlight instead of stuck inside a brick building with 3,000 teenaged kids. I'm 16, i attended my freshman year at my high school in Michigan, and for my sophomore year i tried this new way of education. I love it, i dont have to deal with teachers who think that watching Forrest Gump is a good way to learn about Vietnam and the civil rights movement. Or the materialistic and judgemental students who im constantly surrounded by.
I'm wondering if you think i should stick with it until graduation?
The real question of mine is, what do colleges think of this type of education? Have i screwed myself over?
i did that in high school (that kind of thing has been around a while actually) and it was nice because i got to go at my own pace and graduted when i was 16.
the cons of it, however, is that you miss out on learning how to socialize with others and be able to ask questions and get personal help from a teacher.
if you're the type thats self moviated though, i would recommed it just to get it over with. i hated school and just wanted to work.
i dont think it affects you with colleges either.
