Should i get a Swine flu shot, nor wear mask for my Vietnam trip on this October?

i need to go back to my home country Viet Nam for 3 weeks, so do you think that i should take a swine flu shot or wear mask!!
i have read a lots like the vaccine shot had deadly effects ...ect, the mask did not prevent anything ..etc...
After all, what should i do to protect my family and myself???

first, whether you're in vietnam or any other country doesn't really make a difference--the swine flu is everywhere, and it's not any more deadly in one country over another.

the swine flu shot might be available only after mid-october, so maybe it won't be there before you go to vietnam. if it is available, then if you are under the age of 25 or have any diseases like asthma, you should probably get it.

if you wear a mask, make sure it's an "N95 mask." the cheap surgical masks won't protect you against swine flu, despite the fact that everyone wears them. N95 masks are effective in filtering out the viral particles, surgical masks are not.

I want to buy a camera as I am going on a school trip to Vietnam. How to convince my dad?

He may ask me to take his camera.

Just take his camera. If you can prove yourself as a responsible person, perhaps next time it's easier to ask for something new.

Vietnam's not very safe, so you're better off with an older camera. Your heart will ache if your new camera were to be snatched by thieves.
