Best way to travel from Saigon to Biên Hòa?

This summer I will be living in Saigon for a month with my best friend and her grandmother. Conveniently, our other friend will be visiting his family too in Biên Hòa. I would like to visit him but am not sure what is the best way to get there. My friend says he would be uneasy if I took the bus but I don't see any other way. I would definetly not be traveling alone though

if you are not carrying much luggage take a moto bike with a driver that is knowledgeable of the area.. you probably will find some difficulty locating any address in viet nam.. its always good to have someone with you who can ask directions and get you door to door...at least for the first time..it might be wise to call your friend and have him come get you..take a complete address and phone number with you as you travel. and if you have photos of the people you are going to visit

Is flight confirmation the responsbility of the passenger or the ticket agency?

Hi,

I'm currently living in Japan and organizing business trips to Asian countries (Vietnam, China, etc.)
We sometimes purchase tickets from a tourist company for our client.

Regarding flight confirmation:
We know that some airlines do not require flight confirmation. So I can't tell you if the airlines we use do require it or not (JAL, Vietnam Airlines, China Airlines, etc.). But whether or not the flight needs to be confirmed, is the act of calling the airline to confirm the responbility of the passenger or the ticket agency?

In other words, in cases where a flight is overbooked, cancelled, or delayed, can the ticket agency be put at fault for not notifying the passenger, who did not call the airline to confirm his/her flight?

It is the responsiblity of the passenger. I used to work in a travel agency and if flights are cancelled or altered we do get notified but I'll give you an example which has happened.

A gentlemen booked a flight from Europe to Australia and then a connecting flight from there to Japan. The Japan flight's departure time was changed so that it would depart 16 hours BEFORE the previous time. The change took place after the gentleman had flown to Australia. Now I didn't have any mobile (cell) phone number for this passenger, no contact details for his family and no clue where he is. How could I possibly notify this passenger?

I did leave a message on his answering machine at his home phone number in case he happened to be listening to it, but that was all I could do.

In response to the previous answer. The airlines don't tell us if they require passengers to reconfirm their flight. It is always advised to do so.
